I park at the Sears because usually plenty of spots available. While walking through the store I decide oh, maybe I will get Nikolas 3YR pictures done. So good enough I am able to get in. While I was waiting there was another family waiting as well. Anyways, about 15 feet away I see a man drop and sit on his butt and dleans against the checkstand. As he was going down, he said "oh shit". I was like what is wrong, then I see him shaking. He was having a seizure. I see people attending to him, but as I am watching they really are not doing anything. So the other mother and I run over to him. The man is blue and not responding at all. A male worker says I will do CPR, but as he started he didnt know what he was doing. So I got down, and showed him how to do compressions. My class I took all came back to me. I told the workers what to do! So as the man is giving compressions, no luck! Then he starts choking, and the guy didnt know to stop. I jumped in again and said you need to stop he is breathing. I then helped to turn the man on his side, I guess the workers didnt think it was important to call 911! AMAZING... So needless to say, at least we got him breathing. So this was very strange, I take these calls all day long at work and I guess staying on the line and listening in to the instructions that the fire department gives people really paid off. I actually knew what to do since no one else there did..... Sheesh...scary! So the fire department came, the man had a diabetic seizure and was going to be ok.
After all that, we went to get our pictures done. And here they are.
